2/9/2011: Tonight we faced Animo South Learning Center at the Rita Walters Community Center in Los Angeles. The Lady Polar Bears were going into this game with out one of our leaders who was out with the flu (#11 Tene Stewart). The game started out pretty slow with the score 10 - 2 in favor of POLAHS and in the second quarter it was 14 - 5 going into half-time. We started out really flat with out any intensity on defense, however by the second half we turned it up a notch. We took better care of the basketball, rebounded better, and scored on every opportunity that we had. For the game, #43 Angela Wade scored 22 points, to lead all scorers. This would not have been possible without a team effort. The Lady Polar Bears played in a very physical game which resulted in a 43 - 10 win over the Animo South Lady Panthers and a 5 - 2 record for league.
