Player Expectations - P.O.L.A. Girls' Basketball Program

• All players must show up to practice on time, dressed and ready. Participation in practice will help ensure playing time. Players who do not attend practice during pre-season and during the season may lose playing time, or be suspended for a game.

• Players must attend, complete all homework, and pass all tests to maintain a 2.0 GPA without having a letter grade F on either their progress or final report cards. (10wk, 20wk). Failure to do so, may result in suspension or termination from the team. TARDINESS AND ABSENCES IN ACADEMIC CLASSES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED

• Players will respect all faculty of the school, faculty of opposing school, opponents, opponents fans, our basketball coaching staff and opposing coaching staff as well. Failure to do so, may result in suspension or termination from the team.

• Players are STUDENTS before athletes. It is a privilege to play on the P.O.L.A. Girls’ Basketball Team, not a right.

• Progress reports will be issued by the coaching staff. Players are to have teachers and parents sign with their phone numbers so that parents may be reached to discuss any issues. Failure to do so, may result in suspension or termination from the team.

• Players who are unable to play due to injury or grades will support their teammates behind the bench during competitive games
